Vulnerability Management Analyst

Full-Time in Fort Belvoir, VA

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Vulnerability Management Analyst to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Client Agency is DLA.
  • Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and be eligible for an IT-II level clearance.
  • Will serve as vulnerability management analyst for assigned information systems and computer networks.
  • Will analyze vulnerabilities and characterizes risk to networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components.
  • Will engage with stakeholders and mission partners to facilitate vulnerability discovery through manual review and/or the use of vulnerability scanners.
  • Will facilitate the coordination of remediation efforts, prioritizing remediation efforts based on risk.
  • Will recommend appropriate actions to remediate vulnerabilities and mitigate risks and ensures the implementation of appropriate security settings to include those required by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • Will support and ensures compliance with DOD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) program.
  • Will track and reports security and compliance issues.
  • Will validate remedial actions and ensures compliance with DLA and DOD information security policy.
  • Must be willing and able to work on-site at one of the following locations: Columbus, OH, Fort Belvoir, VA, or Battle Creek, MI.

Requirements:

  • Must have an ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance and be eligible for an IT-II level clearance.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: CAP, CASP+ CE, CISM, CISSP, GSLC, CCISO, HCISPP.
  • Must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must have hands-on experience working with vulnerability scanners.
  • Must have an understanding of vulnerabilities and remediation techniques.
