Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to work for our company.
Summary:
- Client Agency is IRS.
- Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
- The Senior DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible ensuring that software development, operations, and security work seamlessly together. Will automate security checks, manage infrastructure as code, and ensure continuous integration and deployment pipelines are secure from threats throughout the development lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass IRS Background check (Basic eligibility requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
- Must have 4+ years of experience writing code, scripts, and playbooks in a DevSecOps environment.
- Must have Infrastructure as Code experience
- Must have hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code: Terraform Command Line Interface (CLI), Terraform Enterprise, Terraform Cloud.
- Must have hands-on experience with version control and CI/CD: Git CLI, GitLab or GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable CI/CD tooling.
- Must have hands-on experience with OpenShift Container Platform, with both administration and development skills, alongside experience working with containerization tools like Podman and Docker.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite in Lanham, MD at least 50% of the time.
Preferences:
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience with Redis
- Experience with AWS
- Experience with Ansible.
