Systems Administrator

Full-Time in United States - Remote OK - DLA

Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Systems Administrator to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Government Secret clearance (Basic requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcy)
  • Will ensure the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections. Will plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, support, and optimize all network software and communication links. Will analyze and resolve end user software program and connectivity issues. Will provide end user training. Will provide recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision. Will be required to provide both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location. Support includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications. Will apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensuring fault tolerance. Will serve as vulnerability analyst for assigned applications. Will analyze vulnerabilities and characterize risk. Will engage with stakeholders and mission partners to facilitate application vulnerability assessments. Will perform code review, software assurance testing, and application vulnerability scanning. Will facilitate the coordination of remediation efforts, prioritizing remediation efforts based on risk. Will recommend appropriate actions to remediate vulnerabilities and mitigate risks and ensures the implementation of appropriate security settings to include those required by Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG). Will track and report security and compliance issues. Will validate remedial actions and ensures compliance with DLA and DOD information security policy. Will generate RMF artifacts per DLA and DoD policy and as identified by the COR.

Requirements:

  • Must be eligible for a U.S. Government Secret clearance (Basic requirements include: U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcy)
  • Must have an Azure Associate certification (Azure AA).
  • Must have one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, CompTIA Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, SSCP.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: M2008 NET, MCITP SA, MCITP EA, CSA:WS2012, MCSE:WS2012, MCSA:WS2008, MCSM:DS, M2012 NET, MCM: Windows Server 2016: Directory, MCA: MS Windows Server Directory, CCAA, GCWN M.
  • Must 7+ years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing.
  • Must have 4+ years of hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
  • Must have 3+ years’ experience with vulnerability management in a DoD environment.
  • Must have experience accomplishing RMF tasks and generation of RMF artifacts.
