Lead Infrastructure and Middleware Architect

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Lead Infrastructure and Middleware Architect to work for our company.

Summary:

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency.
  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Design and maintain the DAI technical infrastructure and architecture, ensuring it meets application functional requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support to address critical technical issues and ensure seamless integration of all technical components.
  • Enhance and execute plans and tasks related to platform performance, reliability, security, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
  • Perform hardware sizing, system performance tuning, and upgradeability assessments to advise on the DAI technical architecture baseline.
  • Collaborate with functional and interface experts to ensure system performance and coordinate with Oracle’s Support service to resolve issues.
  • Generate Ad Hoc Reports with technical recommendations for future releases and capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic Oracle EBS roadmap to support current and anticipated user load.
  • Propose options and provide recommendations based on emerging technical requirements to optimize system performance
  • Integrate new technology insertions to ensure optimal DAI system design.
  • Oversee the application and enforcement of DoD STIGs and IA policies across various application and database systems.
  • Manage the deployment and maintenance of web-based applications on both Windows and Linux/UNIX platforms.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and configuration baselines.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and availability by implementing best practices and disaster recovery (COOP) plans.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Oracle EBS Financial ERP, Oracle Database, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Single Sign-On (SSO)/Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Business Intelligence Suite Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), Hyperion, Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) software, Oracle User Productivity Kit (UPK), and Oracle Governance.
  • Implement Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), Active Dataguard, Golden Gate, and database performance tuning within the Oracle EBS environment.

Requirements:

  • Eligibility to obtain a U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • Must have 10+ years of experience supporting Oracle database and middleware environments.
  • Must have previous experience supporting DoD or Federal Oracle shared service providers on an Oracle EBS R12.2 platform or higher.
  • Must have deep knowledge of Oracle database architecture, Oracle Data Integrator, Oracle Enterprise Data Quality, and associated middleware platforms.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferences:

  • One of the following certifications: IAT-II security certification: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, CISSA, GCED, GCIH, or CCSP
  • One of the following certifications: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Foundations 2020 Certified Associate, Oracle Certified Associate (OCA), Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Administrator, Oracle Java SE 8 Programmer I, Oracle Enterprise Manager 12c Essentials (OEM 12c), Oracle Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) 12c R1: Fundamentals, Oracle Planning 202x Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS), and Oracle Identity Governance 12c: Essentials.
